In June 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Technology announced the HIT-30 High Tech Investment Program, aimed at making Türkiye a regional hub in data centers. As part of the 2026-2030 Türkiye AI Action Plan, the program targets mobilizing roughly $3 billion in public funding to trigger $10 billion in private-sector investment, and raising data center capacity to at least 1 GW by 2030.
